Washington, D.C. — The Commodity Futures Trading Commission announced that it is inviting public comment on topics and issues being addressed by the Climate-Related Market Risk Subcommittee (Subcommittee) of the Market Risk Advisory Committee (MRAC). Submissions must be received by May 14, 2020.
The Subcommittee was established to provide a report to the MRAC that will identify and examine climate related financial and market risks. CFTC Commissioner Rostin Behnam is the sponsor of the MRAC. Members of the Subcommittee were announced on November 14, 2019. [See CFTC Press Release 8079-19]
