CMF extends public consultation timeframe for changes to rules on outsourcing of services

June 28, 2019.- The Financial Market Commission (CMF) decided to extend the consultation period regarding the update to Chapter 20-7 of the Updated Compilation of Rules (RAN, for its Spanish acronym) for Banks, and Circular Letter No. 2 for non-bank payment card issuers and payment card operators, until July 19.

The modifications under consultation in both cases are referred to the updating of the conditions to be met by institutions should they decide to outsource data processing services abroad.

Comments must be submitted through the Draft Rules and Norms section of the institutional website.
