• Statistical information is published at the end of September 2021 of the Credit Unions sector, made up of 82 entities in operation, one less than in the same month of 2020.
  • Total assets of the Credit Unions sector reached $ 61,950 million pesos [1], with an annual decrease in real terms of 3.2%.
  • The current loan portfolio of the sector reached a balance of $ 45,426 million pesos as of September 2021, with a real decrease of 2.4% compared to the same month of 2020.
  • Loans from banks, partners and other organizations were for $ 48,562 million pesos, with a real annual decrease of 3.5%. 64.5% corresponded to partner loans, which decreased 10.6% in real annual terms.
  • The net result of the sector was $ 477 million pesos, 54.3% higher in real terms compared to the period January – September 2020.
  • The return on assets (ROA) was 1.12% and the return on equity (ROE) of 5.88%, at the end of September 2021.
