  • The total assets of the sector were located at $ 2,249.3 billion pesos (mmdp),[1] with a real annual decrease of 7.9% compared to September 2020.
  • The total loan portfolio reached a balance of $ 1,029.6 billion pesos and registered a real annual decrease of 11.5%.
  • Liabilities were $ 2,026.8 billion pesos, with a real annual decrease of 9.5%. Total deposits decreased 7.2%, to reach a balance of $ 1,185.5 billion pesos and represent 58.5% of total liabilities.
  • The net result of the sector was $ 13.7 billion pesos from January to September 2021, which represented an increase of $ 1.7 billion pesos compared to the same period of 2020. The return on assets (ROA) was -0.01%, while the yield on capital (ROE) was -0.08%, in both cases, with accumulated figures for 12 months.
