Countries and territories in AML/CFT/CPF Handbook Appendix D2 updated

Please complete the required fields.

We have updated our Appendix D2 and amendment log to support you when identifying any countries, territories and areas linked with higher risks of money laundering (ML), financing of terrorism (TF), financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (PF), and sanctions.

Our Appendix D2 provides a detailed overview of countries identified by reliable and independent external third parties, such as the Financial Action task Force (FATF), UN, OECD, World Bank, US Department of State, UK Government, and others.

All relevant persons are expected to exercise judgement in relation to how they interpret and use these sources and must reach their own conclusions on risks. The sources utilise different methodologies that are not necessarily instantly comparable, e.g. they may be considering different risk factors and may be commenting on different jurisdictions. Note that the sources may be incomplete. We do not accept responsibility for the findings and conclusions of the sources.

We remind businesses to review their policies and procedures, as well as their existing customer relationships and prospective clients, to assess the impact of these updates on their business.

You can view the updates by visiting Appendix 2. Subscribe to our RSS Feed and News and updates e-mail alerts.
