EBA Guidelines on general moratoria on loan repayments applied in the light of the COVID-19 crisis incorporated into the FIN-FSA’s set of regulations and guidelines

On 2 April 2020, the European Banking Authority (EBA) issued Guidelines on legislative and non-legislative moratoria on loan repayments applied in the light of the COVID-19 crisis. The Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) issued a press release on this on 6 April 2020, stating that it will comply with the Guidelines in its supervisory activities.

Finnish and Swedish translations of the Guidelines have been published and the Guidelines have been incorporated into the FIN-FSA’s set of regulations and guidelines.
