FRA’s new Board of Directors held its first meeting in the presence of Dr. Sahar Nasr

On the sidelines of the Board’s Meeting after its new formation, Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation  and Dr. Mohammed Omran, Chairman of the Board honored the former Chairman and members of the Board (Mr. Sherif Samy – Former FRA’s Chairman, Mr. Samir Hamza , Mr. Sami Khallaf, Mr. Hamdi Rashad). The new Board, in the presence of Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation honored them for their efforts, achievements, works of value and positive impact in the Stock Market during the period of their membership in the Board.

Dr. Sahar Nasr wished the new Board success and asked the new Board to shoulder the burden of the next phase, complete the development of non-banking financial markets, put a special priority for financial inclusion of the non-banking financial sector through various activities under  the Authority’s supervision  which will be discussed in an expanded community dialogue early next week.

Dr. Mohammed Omran also honored Dr. Sahar Nasr and expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the efforts exerted by her Excellency in supporting and developing the non-banking financial sector through the issuance of legislations regulating the financial activities that are subjected to the supervision of the Authority.

This comes in the light of a prime ministerial decree No. 541 of 2018 to form FRA’s Board of Directors headed by Dr. Mohammed Omran and the membership of counselor/  Reda AbdElmoaty  , Judge / Khalid Al Nashar , Mr. AbdElhamid Ibrahim  , Dr. Mohammed Maeit , Dr. Mohamed Fathi Sakr, Mr. Gamal Najem, Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Egypt,  Dr. Karim Bader, Mr. Alaa Amer)
