The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (‘the Authority’) has today published guidance which is aimed at assisting readers to determine whether the particular use, or nature, of a cryptoasset or token may require a business to be regulated for financial services or registered as a designated business.

The guidance has been developed jointly by the Authority and the Digital Agency of the Department for Enterprise and is available at the guidance section of the Authority’s website and is also linked below:
