Home working – Information Security Risks | Guernsey Financial Services Commission

Please complete the required fields.

The COVID 19 pandemic resulted in many licensees being unable to operate in their usual office environments. Entering Phase 5, a return to normal activity in the Bailiwick, has seen many licensees return to their offices but we are conscious that adoption of home working has accelerated.  Information security risks can increase with home working and therefore we are highlighting a non-exhaustive summary here of some areas for licensees to consider.

We hope that these initial thoughts and observations may provide a useful, interim reference to licensees but these should not be regarded in any way as formal guidance. We plan on consulting on cyber risk guidance, which will address home working amongst other risks, later in the year and licensees will have an opportunity to provide feedback based on their knowledge and experiences as part of this process.
