The sum under management of UCITS amounted to €12,928.4 million in September 2020.  This is a €156.3 (1.2%) increase apropos August. The amount under management of AIFs decreased 7.2% down to €301.6 million.
Investment in domestic shares dropped 5.9% apropos the previous month for domestic shares and 3.4% for foreign shares. With regard to public debt, the value of the investment rose by 9.1% for national debt and 1.2% for foreign debt. The amount invested in bonds decreased 1.8% for national issuers and increased 1.8% for foreign issuers.
NOS was the security with the most impact on the funds’ portfolios, depicting 9.0% of the total amount invested with an 9.8% monthly downswing. This was followed by Jerónimo Martins, registering a 4.3% decrease in the funds’ portfolios and EDP Renováveis with an decrease of 0.4% apropos August.
As to investment in the EU market, Siemens, LVMH and Inditex lead the field in the SIF’s portfolios. Outside the EU, Apple, United Parcel and Nike. 
Germany was the key destination for investment of UCITS in September, securing 15.6% of the total fund investment, followed by the USA (14.4%) and France (11.2%). Portugal registered 7.2% of the investment.
Caixa Gestão de Ativos (33.3%), IM Gestão de Ativos (20.4%) and BPI Gestão de Activos (19.2%) were the management companies with the largest market share.
In September, the money market securities investment fund “IMGA Money Market USD” managed by IM Gestão de Ativos – Sociedade Gestão de Entidades de Coletivo Investimentos, was established.
