In November, the PSI-20 Index closed at 4,604.72 points, reflecting a 16.7% upturn than in October and a 10.2% decrease than that recorded in the same period in 2019. The key issuers on the Index were EDP Renováveis (15.30%), EDP (13.87%) and Galp (10.07%).
The Index’s volatility was 22.30%, above that of 20.68% of the previous month and 9.72% of that recorded during the same period last year.
The value of spot secondary market transactions amounted to €2,362.5 million. This is a €521.0 million (28.3%) increase than in October and €216.2 million (10.1%) less than in November 2019. The trading volume on Euronext Lisbon amounted to €2,362.5 million. This reflects a 28.3% monthly upturn and a 18.1% upsurge during the same period.
The trading volume in debt securities on MTS Portugal amounted to €9,196.0 million in November, representing a monthly decrease of 32.3% and Treasury Bills decreased by 23.5% and Treasury bonds dropped 49.5%.
Market capitalisation of Euronext Lisbon amounted to €222,718.5 million. This corresponds to an increase of €7,608.5 million (3.5%) than in the preceding month and 3.9% more than in the corresponding period. The share sector increased by 12.7% up to €66,547.0 million, while the bonds sector increased by 0.1% up to €155,762.3 million.
The amount under management in the undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities and alternative investment funds rose 1.2% in October apropos Setember up to €13,393.0 million. In real estate investment funds and special real estate investment funds, the amount dropped 0.6% down to €10,356.9 million.
