The FMA may notify the public by way of publication on the Internet, or in a newspaper with nationwide circulation that a named natural or legal person is not authorised to perform certain banking transactions (Article 1 para. 1 BWG), provided that this person has given cause for such action and informing the general public that is proportionate with regard to any potential disadvantages for the affected parties. By publication in the official gazette “Amtsblatt zur Wiener Zeitung” on 29.05.2020, the FMA hereby informs that

is not entitled to carry out banking transactions in Austria that require a licence. The provider is therefore not permitted to trade on a commercial basis (Article 1 para. 1 no. 7 BWG).
